POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash near Fromes Hill yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 2pm, a silver Peugeot 106 travelling along the B4420 from Cradley was in collision with a green and cream Iveco lorry travelling on the A4103 in the direction of Hereford.
The collision took place at the junction of the A4103 and B4220, Stony Cross.
The passenger of the Peugeot, a man in his 80s, was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious injuries.
The driver of the Peugeot, also a man in his 80s, received slight injuries and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance.
The driver of the lorry was not injured.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or either vehicle prior to the incident. Call police on 101, quoting incident number 337S of 21 September 2016.
