AN ABBA lookalike and a hippy certainly turned heads while shopping in Kington.
The pair visited the town’s NISA store dressed in 70s outfits, complete with a wheelbarrow.
Believed to be Wheelbarrow Race competitors, Geoff Cooper and David James were on their way home to Southbourne Bed and Breakfast and The Tavern after their dress rehearsal for Saturday’s race in Kington.
There is a 70s theme to this year’s 40th anniversary event, which started with the Kington Past and Present Day last weekend.
The festivities continue with the wheelbarrow race on Saturday, when competitors make their way through the market town, stopping to drink half a pint of beer at every pub they pass.
