A HEREFORD resident is trying to find the intended recipient of a Second World War letter delivered to a house in Penn Grove Road in the city.
The letter, which is thought to be a photocopy, was dated August 25, 1948 and is addressed to Mr S L Prince.
Sent originally by the Air Ministry, Casualty Branch, it talks about his son, A L Prince, a pilot officer who died after his aircraft crashed in Vehlefanz in Germany.
The letter said he had been reburied in a British military cemetery in Heerstrasse in Berlin.
If you think this relates to your family call the Hereford Times office on 01432 845883 and ask to speak to Rebecca Cain.
