A LEGAL firm's commitment to raising awareness of dementia has prompted two events in Ross-on-Wye.
Harrison Clark Rickerbys inc Shawcross at Overross House will welcome guest speakers to provide support and understanding for those living with dementia.
The first event is on Friday, May 13 from 9.30am to 12.30pm which will cover how to recognise the signs of dementia in a loved one and how to deal with a diagnosis, with expert consultant psychiatrist Dr Tarun Kuruvilla, of the 2gether NHS Foundation Trust in Cheltenham.
The next event, at the same time on Thursday, May 19, during national Dementia Awareness Week, will feature the expert advice of care manager Michelle Keeble-Hawkes, who will talk about living with dementia.
