TWELVE bottles of what is considered by many to be the 'greatest sweet wine in the world' are to go under the hammer at an auction in Leominster.
The 12 consecutive vintage bottles of Chateau d’Yquem will be offered at Brightwell's wine auction on February 17.
The wines span from the years 2000 to 2011 and could well be an excellent investment given the performance of Chateau d’Yquem over the last 20 years.
The collection is expected to achieve in the region of £3,000.
Lovers of Red Bordeaux will also have much to interest them with more than 80 lots in the category.
A large selection of Vintage Ports, Fine Champagne, Malt Whisky and Cognac will also be on offer.
