NO proposed sites were put forward for traveller and gypsy sites by Ross-on-Wye town council in a county consultation.
Herefordshire Council asked residents to suggest sites for travellers and gypsies by February 14.
At the monthly town council meeting Cllr Phil Cutter said: "I cannot think of any sites in Ross town that we look after that would be available for this."
Cllr David Ravenscroft added: "When I worked for Herefordshire Council these things use to come around fairly regularly. There isn't anywhere easily available around the Ross area."
He added: "Herefordshire Council do have quite a number of traveller sites dotted around the county- a lot more than a lot of other counties."
Councillors voted in favour to send a response to say the council could not suggest any suitable sites within the town.
