BLANKETS were presented to residents of a Leominster care home by members of a knitting group based at a Hereford superstore.
The 28 blankets, given to residents at The Forbury care home, were made by members of Sainsbury's knit and chat group which meets on Monday nights in the store's cafe.
The group also presented dementia bands, part of its next ongoing project, which aim to provide a visual, tactile and sensory stimulation while keeping hands warm and snug for dementia sufferers.
Any organisations that would benefit from the dementia bands should email Sue Davies at Sainsburys on prl.hereford@sainsburys.co.uk
