HEREFORD Fire Station is to hold an open day this Saturday.
Visitors will get to meet their local firefighters and get a closer look at the impressive fire engines that they use on a regular basis.
There will also be fire safety advice and demonstrations which will include a drill tower rescue with service mascot Blaze Bear and a road traffic collision.
Also taking place during the day will be fire engine rides and a water rescue boat will be on display.
The event takes place at the station on St Owen Street from midday until 4pm and visitors won’t go hungry as refreshments, including a barbecue, will be available throughout the day.
