TWO ponies worth around £600 each were stolen from farm land in Leintwardine.
Between 9pm on Wednesday July 22 and Thursday July 23, thieves approached a field via a long track which is only accessibly on foot, and opened a small unlocked gate.
They entered the field and removed two Welsh ponies, one of which was a dark bay mare with a white star to her head and the other a chestnut male gelding with a white blaze to his head.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
