A HEREFORD-based consultant psychiatrist has been recognised for her contribution to the field.
Dr Alison Gray, a consultant in liaison psychiatry in Hereford with 2gether NHS Foundation Trust, has been formally presented with the Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
She was awarded the Fellowship by her peers for her work in spirituality and mental health, such as for being secretary to the college’s Spirituality Special Interest Group.
Fellowship of the college is awarded as a mark of distinction and recognition of contributions to psychiatry.
Dr Gray said: "The presentation ceremony was memorable and fun and the meal afterwards was a thoroughly enjoyable celebration."
