LITTLE motivation is needed to get out and explore the stunning Herefordshire countryside.
But in case you need a little push, the county's upcoming nine-day walking festival should offer ample opportunity.
There are 37 walks – guided by a geologist, an archaeologist, farmers, the ornithological club, a historian and a travel photographer to name just a few – planned for the festival which takes place between June 13 and 21.
There is even a 'virtual' walk, which can be followed online day by day during the festival as well as long walks and short walks in all parts of the county.
Brochures for the festival can be requested by emailing walking@walkingfestival.com or can be viewed online at walkingfestival.com
