POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a collision on a busy Hereford road.

It happened at around 1.50pm on Friday April 10 on Roman Road, near the junction with Hugh Thomas Avenue.

The male cyclist was travelling towards Holmer roundabout when it is believed he was in collision with an unknown vehicle.

He suffered concussion and minor injuries.

Officers want to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw the cyclist and his black and yellow bike before or after the collision.

He was wearing a blue cycling helmet, a royal blue T-shirt, black and red shorts and was carrying a grey rucksack.
