THE Hereford branch of Mothercare will close on Monday.
Mothercare said the closure of the shop in Maylord Shopping Centre, Maylord Street is "part of a larger transformation" for their business.
The firm, which sells clothes, toys and equipment for young children, thanked customers in the area for their support.
A Mothercare spokesman said: "The plan will see us relocate a small number of stores across the UK whilst continuing to invest in online and mobile shopping channels.
"We are contacting our customers in the Hereford area to advise them of the changes and provide details of their nearest Mothercare stores.
"We greatly value our customers in the local area and, although we have no immediate plans, will certainly consider opening a new store in the vicinity at some point in the future."
The Hereford shop will close on Monday, March 30.
