A MAN who flashed a woman from a window in his home has been fined £200.

Raymond Watkins, 54, of Ballinger Court, Hereford exposed himself to a woman from a window in his home over five days at the start of November.

At Hereford Magistrates Court today he pleaded guilty to the offence.

Prosecuting, Lesley Ashton said the victim first noticed Watkins standing in his window on November 3.

The following day she realised he was naked and then on November 5 she saw him standing naked at the full length window in his home, holding a sign, which was indecipherable.

She then told friends who told her to report it to the police and the next day she saw him standing naked at his window again.

Police attended his address and found two handwritten notes with one which read: 'Sorry for upsetting you xx'

He was interviewed by police and admitted what he had done.

He went on to say he thought the victim was attractive.

Matt Lewis, defending, said: "How often is it that someone charged with an offence such as this comes clean and accepts responsibility?

"In my experience, the answer to that is very rarely."

He asked magistrates to take into account that he accepts full responsibility.

Watkins has no previous convictions and has difficulties with his mental health- since the incident his medication has been reviewed.

Magistrates fined him £200 and he was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 government surcharge.

Watkins was also given a restraining order not to get in touch directly or indirectly with the victim or her family.
