A 55-YEAR-old man suffered face and back injuries as he was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Leominster.
Police said on Saturday, October 18 between 1 and 2pm, the victim was assaulted by another man outside the Royal Oak in South Street.
It happened at the back of the hotel in view of Etnam Street and police said the victim sustained "significant facial and back injuries".
PC Adele Loney, the investigating officer, said: "There were several members of the public who witnessed this assault. I urge them to come forward with information to help us with our inquiries."
