ON April 7, Felicity Jones from Huntington filled Huntington Hall when over 90 people came to hear her explain the different types of renewable energy.
These are created through wind power, solar panels and biomass as well as the potential from the sea.
Approximately, 30% of our energy is now generated from renewable sources.
She showed starkly the difference between now and only a few years ago, when coal was the principle source of our energy.
After this fascinating talk, the whole audience enjoyed a long-lasting party of free wine and canapés.
The event raised over £800 for the Church of St Thomas a Becket, Huntington.
