BROMYARD and District Probus Club members had been looking forward to their meeting at the Plough Inn, Stoke Lacy on March 13 and welcoming their after lunch speaker, Alison Jones of Home-Start Herefordshire and were not disappointed.
After the usual hearty lunch, Alison gave a short talk about Home-Start which kept everyone wide awake prompted a lively discussion and resulted in members handing over some £150 to the charity.
As Alison had pointed out in her very interesting talk, "What can be more important than helping ensure improvement in life chances of children and their families?"
