TUPSLEY Rainbows invited the Mayor of Hereford City, Councillor Sharon Michael to their unit meeting recently to learn more about the Mayoral Chain of Office and enjoy some pancakes.

The Mayor was a guide herself and loves visiting local groups to see what they are up to and get them enthused about Hereford.

She certainly did that - the Rainbows loved looking at and hearing the history of the Mayoral Chain of Office and Sharon thinks she may have found a future potential Councillor - Evie, one of the Rainbows was very proud to tell her she is on her school council and “loved her golden necklace, particularly the lions on the bottom of it”. They all then enjoyed their pancakes and Ellie commented on the Mayor’s skill at pancake tossing “I was amazed it went back in the pan!”
