THE Ledbury Library Development Group start their new year of activities with a talk by Chris Beardshaw who will be the guest speaker on the subject of A Garden for Great Ormond Street Hospital on Wednesday, February 7 at the Ledbury Rugby Club.
Designer, plantsman and author, Chris will tell the story of designing and creating this garden first shown at the RHS in Chelsea.
With the generous help of the BBC DIY SOS team, this amazing garden was moved to Great Ormond Street Hospital where thanks to the hundreds of volunteers, the garden now has a permanent home.
It provides a secluded and reflective space for families and parents of children undergoing treatment to use and enjoy.
Tickets for the talk, £12 are now on sale from Ledbury Library. Doors open at 6.30pm for 7pm. Bar available at the rugby club.
