ON November 11, Stoke Lacy Artists' group hosted a coffee morning in the church. The artists displaying their work were Colin Symonds, David McKeeman, Kate Harvey. One of the group, Nigel Montandon also took the opportunity to launch his poppy installation which will mark the centenary of the end of the First World War next year. Visitors to the event were invited to make their own poppies which will form part of the display.

On Thursday, November 30, Sanctuary Housing will hold a public consultation at Stoke Lacy Village Hall regarding the proposed housing development at the Newlands site in the village. Members of the public are welcome to attend between 4pm and 7pm.

Stoke Lacy PCC will hold a Christmas A'Fayre on Saturday 9th December at the village hall between noon and 3pm. There will be hot pork rolls, and lots of Christmas stalls. All welcome.

On Sunday 9th December Stoke Lacy Village Hall will host a Christmas afternoon tea at 4pm. There will be festive drinks, tea, cake and savouries as well as a Christmas themed quiz and other festive delights. Please book in advance £6: adults £3: children under 11.
