THE South Herefordshire Dowsers' annual general meeting combined a talk from Kirsty Mullock of the charity Village Water with elections for next year's committee members.
Since finding water is a popular theme amongst dowsers, the SHD have adopted Village Water as their official charity. Kirsty described the work of Village Water in Zambia and Mozambique, where educating people about good sanitation goes hand in hand with setting up fresh water supplies at local level.
The 2018 SHD committee now looks like this:
Chairman: (new) Jackie Robinson.
Secretary: David Exell.
Treasurer: Rob Gillmor.
Deputy treasurer and programme secretary: Janet Monnington.
Press secretary: Sue Watts-Cutler.
Librarian: Ros Milward.
Training officer: Glan Jones.
Other members: John Rawlings, Isobel Willmott and June Hancocks.
