THE Eardisland community recently hosted its now annual craft fair event.
Organisers had 40 plus stalls located in St Mary's Church, a marquee, and a couple of gazebos, together with the village hall offering a big breakfast, refreshments throughout the day and cakes and homemade jams and chutneys tables.
At least 330 people came, more than last year despite the forecast and actual poor weather, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, not least the small dedicated group of villagers/locals who contributed to the massive effort to get the whole thing going and make it such a success.
