AT the end of the summer term, pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 at St Mary's Primary School Fownhope took a journey back to medieval times when they performed their summer production What a Knight!
The musical comedy tells the story of Watt Cobblers and Princess Alice, who go on a quest to rescue Excalibur and bring it back to Camelot.
"The children had great fun performing the play," said Tim Milne, headteacher.
"They especially enjoyed playing to packed audiences and getting laughs at the jokes and plenty of applause!
"It was also great to see the children's confidence grow during the performances."
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to making the production so successful. A great way to end the school year.
