JENNY Ogden launched her new book The Wildlife Role-play Book with a role play event at the Assemble rooms in Presteigne recently.
Her friends dressed as a dung beetle, black bird, song thrush and a horseshoe bat were interviewed about their lives by Phil Robinson using the questions and answers from the book. This proved very entertaining for all.
The book is a valuable resource for anyone involved in wildlife education at any level.
Scripted interviews with creatures native to the UK offer a fun way for children and adults alike to learn about the insects, birds and mammals which share our earth.
Jenny said "Put yourself in the shoes of a dung beetle or a honeybee and realise the problems they face because of human activity".
