LEINTWARDINE village will again open its gardens to the public this summer on June 17-18 from 2pm - 6pm.

There are 11 gardens opening, varying in both size and style.

Some are in an easily walkable bunch in the centre of the village and some, with fabulous views, need driving to on the outskirts. Some are large, others smaller and more intimate. Some have not been open to the public before.

Refreshments including homemade cakes will be available in the Leintwardine Centre throughout the afternoon and one garden is offering local ice creams and another a plant stall where visitors can choose from a large selection of plants for sale - a great way to get their own gardens looking lovely this summer.

Admission is £7 per adult and tickets will be available from the village shop, Griffiths and from the gardens themselves. They are valid for both days and children under 16 are admitted for free.

An enjoyable day for all is assured. Something of interest to all gardeners and those just looking for an interesting day out.

This is a wonderful opportunity to visit a lovely village and see some great gardens that are hidden away for the rest of the year.

All profits go to the Leintwardine Centre.
