GLAMORGAN Telecom has donated £3,200 to Kingstone Academy in Hereford to help the school with its community pursuits.
Kingstone Academy, a secondary school which achieved academy status in 2011, is working with Kingstone and Thruxton Primary School to become a community hub not just during school terms, but also to provide learning facilities to the local community, individuals and groups alike throughout the year.
To provide additional services throughout the year, Kingstone Academy depends on fundraising donations and Glamorgan Telecom was happy to support them.
Sales director Mat Evans said: "We have a long-standing relationship with Kingstone Academy and having worked with them for the past decade, we know how invaluable the school's work in the local community is. We hope that our donation will offer real benefit to the local community."
Kingstone Academy head teacher Mr Steven Fisher said: "We at Kingstone are delighted to be extending our relationship with the team at Glamorgan Telecom. We set high standards in all that we do and could not be happier that Matt's team work to the same values on quality that we do."
