THE 1st Hereford Scouts took part in the annual JOTA (Jamboree on the Air) and JOTI (Jamboree on the Internet) recently and made several contacts to scouts overseas, including Japan, France, Germany and the JOTI radio station.
Having attended the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan last year, leader Chris 'Tosh' Ruffe, was able to make video contact with his Japanese hosts and share memories with those assembled at their shrine headquarters in Kagoshima.
Scouts, Charlotte Colbert and Jonathan Strevens had great fun conversing across the airwaves and internet.
