POWYS Youth Services working together with the Knighton Community Centre management committee have put on a first aid awareness course for young people in Knighton. The course was led by area youth workers Lesley Smith and Ceri Steadman and took place in the Reynolds Room of the community centre.
During the course youngsters learned about adult, child and baby CPR, the recovery position for various conditions, basic defibrillator skills, basic bandaging for bleeds and breaks and how to treat different types of burns.
