THE annual Worldwise Geographical Association quiz was held on November 24 at Hereford Cathedral School, in collaboration with St Mary's High School.
Eight schools attended including The Bishop of Hereford Bluecoat School, Fairfield High School, Whitecross, St Mary's, Aylestone, Monmouth School and Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls.
It was an entertaining evening of picture rounds, Google imagery, fieldwork skills, mapping, and an alphabet round supported by geography teachers throughout the county.
The team in first place was Hereford Cathedral School, second was Monmouth Boys, third place went to Fairfield, and the runners-up were Whitecross.
Participating students each received a pocket atlas and the top three teams received Waterstones book vouchers.
Hereford Cathedral School would like to thank the Coffee Cart for their support of the event with additional edible prizes for the winning team.
