THE Duck's Nest Restaurant in High Street Presteigne has changed it's menu to French and hand picked a French wine list dedicated to their friends in Paris. Restaurant owner Jemima Alexander said "I have friends in France and although they are all safe I wanted to do something to show them and all the French people that we are thinking of them after the terrorist attacks". Chef Peter Mace trained in La Rochelle and put together a special French menu including Camembert -du Pain, Moules Mapielles avec leume provencal and Tarte au citron avec salade citron. All the menus are typed in French but luckily Jemima can speak a little French and is on hand to translate them for those who don't. For further details telephone 01544 598090.
