ON Sunday, May 6, and in true Vicar of Dibley style, Sollershope PCC will once again host their annual Rogation Sunday celebrations in the beautiful valley adjacent to the church and just a short distance off the B4224 (Hereford to Ross-on-Wye).
The Reverend Crispin Pemberton will get things underway at 11.15am with an informal, open-air service including the extremely popular blessing of pets and animals.
At noon, the dog show gets underway, with classes for dogs and owners of all ages and abilities, with prize rosettes for those making the top three places in each class, and not forgetting the perpetual cup for the 'Dog the Judge would most like to take home' (but we promise she won't!).
Hot pork rolls, sandwiches, cakes, plants and books will be on sale throughout the afternoon and there will be lots of traditional games, prizes and entertainment for all the family, including miniature donkeys.
The afternoon will conclude with the "egg-citing " duck race and egg catching competition….so do come an join us for a "smashing time".
Well signed, and just a short distance off the B4224 with ample free parking and lots of fun for all the family and furry friends!
