MANY interesting postage stamps went under the hammer at the annual auction of the Hereford and Mid Wales Philatelic Society on February 7.
Amongst the lots was one of the famous Cape Triangulars shown here by society president Frank Bennett.
Many of the lots were auctioned in aid of St Michael's Hospice for which over £100 was raised.
The society meets at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of each month in St Martin's Hall, Hereford.
There is a varied programme of interest to all philatelists.
