THE girls of Hereford Cathedral School Boat Club are completing a 24 hour row on indoor rowing machines to raise money to support an Old Herefordian, Kiko Matthews in her attempt to break the world record to be the fastest female to row solo and unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean.

They aim to raise £1000 to support Kiko and any additional fundraising will go to King's College Hospital which has saved her life twice.

The 24 hour row will take place from 10am Saturday, January 13 to 10am Sunday, January 14 in Bewell Square, Hereford.

It will be a test of both physical and mental robustness, demonstrating the high level of teamwork and commitment within this inspiring group of girls aged from 13 to 18 years old.
