THE Rotary Club of Leominster had another great day supporting the Victorian Street Market and collecting money for various charities.

As usual they presented their Cider with Rotary stall and were selling cups of mulled cider and giving away free raffle tickets in order to win a wonderful festive hamper.

They were also able to sell holly (with lots of berries on!) and mistletoe and, for the first time this year, wooden reindeer kindly donated by the students of Hereford and Ludlow College Holme Lacy Campus.

For the first time they were selling bottles of locally produced apple juice. This is new and exciting venture and all proceeds will go towards their charities account.

Rotary members and friends have donated surplus apples, which have then been professionally juiced and pasteurised before Rotary members designed and printed the labels.

The Christmas hamper was won by Mr and Mrs Banks from Monkland.

Rotary would like to extend their grateful thanks go to all those who came to the stall and supported both Rotary and the market in general as, without their generosity, Rotary would not be able to support the good causes that they do.
