IT may have been the third day of school closures but The Hub at St Peter's Centre in Peterchurch hosted an impromptu craft session on December 11.
The session was run by Cultivating Learning and Nature CIC and saw many local families come along for some community crafting.
A wealth of hand sewn Christmas decorations were made with some children sewing for the first time.
It was a gathering of over 40 people that was full of creativity and excitement and topped off with delicious hot chocolate and cakes from The Hub Cafe.
Caroline of CLaN CIC commented 'it was so lovely to see families learning new skills and make a decoration that has a wonderful snowy story attached to it'.
