THE children at Bromesberrow St Mary's Primary School, near Ledbury, planted purple crocus bulbs for Rotary's global End Polio Now Campaign.
On the day, which also coincided with Children in Need Day, the pupils paid to wear their own fancy dress costumes instead of school uniform to raise funds for Children in Need.
Their efforts will also serve to highlight the need to eradicate polio so that children of their own age in Pakistan and Afghanistan become resistant to the polio virus.
Over 1000 bulbs were planted and the flowers will make a wonderful display in the spring.
Well done to the pupils and staff and Rotary Club of Ledbury for all their efforts on this special Children in Need Day.
