HERGEST Croft Gardens is opening this weekend for you to see the spectacular display of early spring bulbs.

Pools of the blue Scilla bifolia are filled with islands of white snowdrops whilst sheets of the earliest Crocus tomasinianus with pale lavender flowers are covering the rockery and combine with other crocuses and the earliest of the daffodils and other bulbs including dwarf irises and many different snowdrops.

The first of the camellias are starting to flower and the garden is full of the scent of Daphnes and Christmas box (Sarcocca).

The gardens, Ridgebourne Road, Kington HR5 3EG, are open for weekends in March and daily from April 1.
