AN Arts Alive event at Breinton Village Hall on February 10 took attendees back to the days of Harlem Swing, when 52 Skidoo introduced the audience to a rent party on their Joint is Jumpin tour.
Over 60 locals attended the evening and their ages ranged from seven to 80 years-of-age.
The event was put on with the help of Arts Alive and billed as a social event to bring people together to enjoy the music.
The added benefit was that additional monies raised were donated for the upkeep of the village hall.
Susan Preece, one of the organisers, said "We had a brilliant evening the band were amazing".
