ON the afternoon of February 6, Knighton and District Probus Club appointed a new president for 2017.

The retiring president Mr John Watson said it had been a successful year and regretted the loss of the late Trevor Johnson.

The new president Mr Michael Symonds, ex headmaster of Bedstone College for 21 years, thanked everyone at the meeting for their support and said the club needs to be a little more active and large.
