THE members of Hereford SA Photography Club have raised over £12,000 for local charities since the club was founded in 2005.

They are a group of enthusiastic amateur photographers who meet on the first Monday of every month at 7.30pm (second Monday if the first Monday falls on a Bank Holiday) at the Salvation Army Hall, Canonmoor Street (opposite the football ground).

If you are interested in photography and want to improve your photographic knowledge and skills you are welcome to attend.

The first visit is free and annual membership is £18.

They are a friendly group of people who love taking pictures. The programme is varied with lectures and exhibitions by experienced photographers, workshops and competitions.

The chosen charity for 2016 was the Martha Trust, Hereford.

Prior to the recent Annual General Meeting, Sue McBride, trust director and Nicky West, director of care, gave an insight into the work of the trust and explained how they would to make use of the contribution.
