KNIGHTON Primary School Key Stage 1 children celebrated the Chinese New Year with a day of crafts, activities and dancing for 2017 which is the year of the rooster.
Many of the children and staff were dressed in Chinese costumes, as dragons, other creatures or in red clothing.
Children took it in turn to cook noodles, write their names in Chinese make Chinese dragons, flags and fans.
In the afternoon the children did a Chinese dance with their giant dragons which were embellished with the hand prints of each child.
