RECORD numbers attended the annual Boxing Day Ledbury Hunt that took place in glorious December sunshine.
Drinks were served by staff outside the Feathers Hotel and after a speech by the Master of the Hunt, the horn was sounded and with a clattering of hooves, horses, riders and dogs of all sizes and ages set off down to the Old Cottage Hospital before wheeling round, riding up through the High Street turning right at the Top Cross down New Street and galloping away.
The Ledbury Hunt tradition has survived from the 1830s and continues to draw crowds to view this colourful country spectacle. Down by the Market House the Silurian Morris Dancers entertained members of the public with intricate dancing and catchy music. A wonderful Boxing Day event, well supported by visitors from far and wide.
