SEVERAL volunteers had a great evening recently helping Santa wrap presents for Presteigne children. Santa will be in his Grotto in the High Street during the fair tomorrow from 3.45pm until 6.45pm.
Old friend Jack the Jester will be presenting an all new variety show. A new addition will be Mr Bamboozle the magician.
Scrappies and the Circus Workshop will be also be there throughout.
There will be carol singing from the primary school children and more stalls than ever this year selling presents and refreshments.
The president of the Chamber of Trade, James Tennant-Eyles said he would like to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteers who are helping to run the event this year. In particular he would like to give special thanks to the dedicated team of volunteers that look after the recycling site on the bypass.
The site is run by the Chamber of Trade and the income from it has made possible new Christmas lights this year and has funded the fair.
