THE annual Macmillan Christmas Fair organised by the Knighton support group was held in the church hall recently. The event raised £2,380 for the cancer support charity. At the event there were lots of Christmas gifts for sale as well as cakes, produce and items from the white elephant stall. There was face painting, a tombola, two raffles and refreshments.
Father Christmas came to visit all the children who attended and gave them all a gift and a balloon. Diane Morgan won the lamb after correctly guessing it's name as Lucky.
Door raffle winners were Sue Jones, Scott Fowkes, Sue Davies, Pam Mills, Vicki James, Kay Morris, Val Smith, Jane Bywater, Gwen Williams and Alice Cowell.
Big raffle winners were Zoe Jones, Alive Neilson, Gwen Tyler, Bob Jones, Beryl Oxford, Sue Frances, Peter Medlicott, Derek and Rebe Brick, Maisie Caine, Mrs Sharrock and Flo Adams.
Mike Conway thanked everyone for coming and the members of the Knighton Macmillan Cancer Support group for organising and running the event.
