The presentation of the petition for funding
STAFF, members, trustees and supporters of the East Radnorshire Day Centre descended on County Hall in Llandrindod Wells on November 9.
David Thomas, a long standing member of the centre, presented Cllr Stephen Hayes, portfolio holder for adult services, a petition with some 2424 signatories on it requesting contract funding on the same basis as Westwood Day Centre in Welshpool of £115,000 per annum.
The group were invited into County Hall by Cllr Hayes and the presentation took place in the reception.
