LARGE crowds of members descended on Knighton Royal Air Forces Association Club in the High Street recently to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the club opening.
The branch was formed 62 years ago and they bought the club 60 years ago.
All members enjoyed the evening with reduced prices on the drinks, this was supported by the brewery, and a large selection of food organised by the women in the club.
A grand draw was held with a £50 first prize and a large hamper for second prize which were donated by committee members.
The event raised some £150 for the Wings Appeal.
