AT the village hall in Kinnerton, vice president Ruth Jones and secretary Angela Yates, together with a number of members of the local Women’s Institute, warmly welcomed Allan and Angela Lloyd on their present campaign to raise awareness and support for St Michael’s Hospice.
Following their presentation about the vital work of patient care undertaken at the newly refurbished and extended hospice at Bartestree, the Lloyds answered a searching and wide ranging list of questions concerning health care, including the situation at the Macmillan Renton and Radiotherapy Unit at Hereford County Hospital.
With a generous donation to be sent to St Michael’s Hospice, vice president Ruth Jones thanked Allan and Angela, not only for attending the meeting, but for the continued voluntary work they are undertaking on the public’s behalf.
