LEDBURY town was looking resplendent, basking in warm sunshine with flowers blooming.
Many people took advantage of the fabulous weather sitting on the benches in the walled garden, eating their picnics in lovely surroundings.
However, sympathies were with the town crier Bill 'the Bell' Turberfield guarding the official vehicle for the Ledbury in Bloom judges who were in the town for the officiating at this annual event.
The outcome of the judging will not be known until September.
In spite of the great heat Bill managed to look serene and as splendid as the flowers.
