JULY 3 at 8.15am and the sun is shining!

Two little red Massey Ferguson tractors chug their way past St Michael's Llanfihangel nant Melan on their way to The Fron Farm. They were the first of nearly 60 tractors and vehicles joining together to criss-cross the Radnor Forest, sometimes over tracks not usually open to the public. It was all to help raise funds for this little church. The Harris family were fabulous hosts and with support from McCartneys, Caleb Roberts, the Fforest Inn and a host of local landowners an enjoyable time was had by all.

The sun dances and prayers had been performed in the weeks before and the sun shone all day to show off our great area to its best.

Breakfast was served at the start and the ladies of the church met the convoy halfway round to serve hot drinks and cakes.

It certainly showed what such a little village can achieve.

Now locals are all planning for their local fete on Saturday and once again will be praying and dancing for an abundance of sunshine.
