JO and Suzy Pardoe Bouchard from Knighton are embarking on a new venture to provide tourists to the Marches with a choice of special tours around the area. The wife and wife couple who were married in September 2014 at one of their favourite spots, Pen-y-Garreg Dam in the Elan Valley have spent many hours travelling around Powys, Herefordshire and Shropshire and realised their wasn't anyone running tours to help visitors see all the wonderful places there are to see. The couple have bought an eight seater minibus and called it Eddie. They will now be offering chauffeur driven tours, sharing the magnificence of the area, with stops for walking, eating, photography, historical focal points and local events. Although very flexible they have a choice of tours on offer including the Elan Valley, Llyn Brianne, Ludlow, Shropshire Hills and Black and White trail tour. They launched their venture 'tricounty tours' at the Offa's Dyke Centre in Knighton and invited lots of people who provide accommodation locally to find out more about it. Jo has recently retired from the ambulance service after 29 years and will now become a driver and tour guide. Suzy works as a midwife and has set up the business with Jo and will help out when needed. Jo said "I am very excited and can't wait to show the visitors the local area in which we live and love".
